Defensive returns set to bolster Cherries search for league win: Predicted team

Bournemouth will be hoping to return to winning ways in the league after a patchy run of form recently, and they will not have time to dwell on their cup defeat at the weekend.

The Daily Echo predicts how the Cherries will line up on Wednesday night.

**Goalkeeper**

**Kepa Arrizabalaga** had a mixed game against City at the weekend, starring in the first half but, like much of the Cherries team, dropping off a little in the second half. The Spaniard will start again on Wednesday, though.

While Marcos Senesi and Julio Soler were good at the weekend in place of **Dean Huijsen** and **Milos Kerkez,** the young duo will return to the starting lineup in midweek.

Huijsen will partner **Illia Zabarnyi** at centre back, while Andoni Iraola will have more of a selection headache at right back.

Adam Smith came off the bench at the weekend, and if he is fit to do so, he may start, although Iraola will more likely opt for **James Hill**.

**Midfielders**

With Hill returning at right back, that allows **Lewis Cook** to return to his more favoured position of centre midfield.

_(Image: Richard Crease)_I think Cook will start, and with Ryan Christie continuing to manage a groin issue, Iraola could use the game against Ipswich as an opportunity to give him more of a rest. **Tyler Adams** will then continue alongside Cook.

**Forwards**

With Marcus Tavernier likely ruled out, the forward line may be unchanged from the weekend. While Iraola may start Dango Ouattara on the left wing, **Antoine Semenyo** will probably be given the nod, alongsideĀ **Justin Kluivert** and **David Brooks**, in behind **Evanilson**, who will lead the line.
