Regulation of border issues has become one of key achievements of last several years: President Japarov
**AKIPRESS.COM** - The Presidents of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan attended the Nooruz celebrations at the central stadium in Khujand on March 31, where they delivered speeches.
Formalization of the border is not a mere political and legal process, but important step towards strengthening of good neighborliness, stability, security and joint development, President Sadyr Japarov said in his speech.
Regulation of the border issues has become one of the key achievements for the last several years, President Japarov said.
"Our peoples can live in peace and harmony, engage in creative work, and make plans for the future. In this context, the joint celebration of Nooruz, symbolizing renewal, peace, and unity, has special significance," he added.
Sadyr Japarov cited a popular saying: "Three trees growing side by side strengthen one land with their roots." He noted that Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are like these trees, which strength is in unity.
After the official part, a gala concert was held with participation of artists from the three countries.
Sadyr Japarov arrived in Khujand on March 31 for the trilateral summit of the Presidents of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
