Drake Includes Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in Recent Release

The Oklahoma City Thunder have had an incredible season thus far as they are one of the favorites to win the NBA Finals.

Oklahoma City has dominated their way through the season as they currently hold a 63-12 record which is the best record in the NBA.

Of course, the Thunder have also already clinched the number one seed in the Western Conference with the playoffs right around the corner and it looks as though they are the clear team to beat in the West.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has led the way for the Thunder this season as he is currently the frontrunner to win his first MVP award.

Not only has Shai been dominant on the court, but he has also been dominant in the pop culture world as well thanks to his stylish clothing and also his signature shoe with Converse.

On Monday, Shai made an appearance in fellow Canadian Drake's newly released music video for his song Nokia from his album with PartyNextDoor, Some Sexy Songs 4 U.

In the video, Shai is shown standing in front of the camera wearing an all-white outfit with his signature sneakers, the SHAI001, in his hand.

Shai and Drake are known friends as the multi-time Grammy award winning rapper is a major University of Kentucky basketball fan, which Shai attended, and they were both born in Canada.

Of course, Shai is not the first NBA superstar to appear in a music video and he will sure not be the last, but he played the part perfectly while also doing some advertising for his signature shoe.

The superstar guard and the Thunder now hope that they do not fall under the Drake curse like many other teams have in the past, but that should not be an issue with Shai leading the way along with their talented young core.
