Ruben Amorim suggested Manchester United were yet to make final decisions on four players into the final months of their contracts.
Victor Lindelof, Christian Eriksen, Jonny Evans and Tom Heaton are all out of contract in under three months. United tried to sell Lindelof in the summer but an injury prevented any move from materialising.

Eriksen, 33, has indicated he will move elsewhere in the summer while the injured Evans, 37, has not started since Amorim's first match in charge at Ipswich Town on November 24 and he has made one substitute appearance since then. Heaton turns 39 this month and recently recovered from injury.
"We will see," Amorim said when asked if the quartet would leave. "We are thinking about next season but we have a lot of things to do. We know the Europa League can change a lot of things at our club so we are focusing on the present, not just the future."
Amorim also expressed sympathy with United supporters planning to stage another protest against the increase in ticket prices. Prices have been hiked to £66 and concessions scrapped, while dozens of long-serving season ticket holders could be forced to give up their seats so that they can be sold on as “high value” hospitality seats.
Supporters will stage a sit-in protest after the Manchester derby against City at Old Trafford on Sunday. "I can see that point of view," Amorim acknowledged. "I think everybody here can see that point of view, can understand how frustrated they are.
"Again, the only thing I can help in that situation is winning games, winning the Europa League to have more money to have more flexibility in the budget, to assess all these things.
"So I will try to do my part to help the fans. But all the people here understand the frustration of the fans."
Amorim also reiterated United's confidence that Amad will play again this season. The winger sustained an ankle injury two months ago and was initially ruled out for the remainder of the campaign but is now set to make a return in the coming weeks.
"I think he is going to play still this season," Amorim added. "I don't know when but we are really confident on that."
