The 39-year-old veteran has recently been on two 10-day contracts with the Knicks but has appeared in just one game, playing only two minutes.
This season, aside from that lone appearance with the Knicks, he has not played in any other games. Last year, he played a total of 31 games combined for the Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Clippers, averaging 1.7 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.
Over his 14-year NBA career, Tucker had his best statistical season in 2013-14 with the Phoenix Suns, averaging 9.4 points and 6.5 rebounds in around 30 minutes per game. He was also a key contributor to the Milwaukee Bucks’ championship run in 2020-21.
