West Ham player has just dropped a major hint that he’ll make his first start of the season vs…

West Ham United take on Wolves at Molineux in the Premier League tonight.

The Premier League clash vs Wolves is a hugely important one for West Ham.

Despite the fact that the Hammers don’t have anything of substance to play for, Graham Potter absolutely has to start picking up some wins.

Next season, there is an argument to be made that only five players out of the current West Ham squad will be starting under Graham Potter, but he needs to start laying the foundations for any kind of future success right here and now.

Potter needs to completely overhaul his squad at the London Stadium during the off-season.

There will be plenty of players leaving as well. However, certain players may be given new leases of life under Potter.

Luis Guilherme could make first start of the season for West Ham

Brazilian winger Luis Guilherme has barely featured for the Hammers this season.

The 19-year-old has played just 55 minutes in all competitions for West Ham.

MORE WEST HAM STORIES

It was actually claimed only a few days ago that Luis Guilherme has not impressed during West Ham training.

However, if he gets a start at Molineux tonight, it will be proof that that is indeed not the case.

Guilherme took to his official X account and posted a cryptic message – one that suggests he may well start the game up in the Black Country:

One thing that cannot be questioned is Guilherme’s attitude.

West Ham owners could overrule Graham Potter with Guilherme

Whether he starts against Wolves or not, the future still looks bleak for Guilherme at the London Stadium.

It has been claimed that West Ham want to sell Luis Guilherme this summer.

However, Graham Potter fought really hard to keep the teenager in the January transfer window, and blocked his exit to Feyenoord on deadline day.

So the Hammers head coach clearly rates Guilherme very highly indeed.

That means that if West Ham decide to sell Luis Guilherme this summer, the board may well have trumped Graham Potter in the decision making process.

And that will be a really bad sign moving forward.
