Matildas star Katrina Gorry has withdrawn from the two international clashes against South Korea after succumbing to an injury in the Women's Premier League, while Tameka Yallop has announced she is expecting her second child. Gorry was playing for her club side West Ham on the weekend when they drew 2-2 against league leaders Chelsea.
Sam Kerr was not included in the Chelsea squad as she continues her recovery after an ACL injury. Unfortunately, Gorry injured her ankle in the hard-fought draw and has been forced to withdraw from the 23-player Matildas squad ahead of their clashes against South Korea on Friday and next Monday.

Kerr will most likely aim for the May international schedule where Australia will take on Argentina. Leah Davidson from Melbourne City FC will replace Gorry in the squad.
Davidson made her debut for Australia at the end of last year and scored her first international goal. She will join the squad having played a starring role for Melbourne City FC who remain undefeated so far in the A-League this season. While Gorry is out with injury, her national teammate Yallop has announced she is expecting her second child with partner Kirsty.
