The Chicago Bears got former Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson to be their head coach this offseason, ending plenty of speculation about who would take over for departed coach Matt Eberfus in the Windy City.
The addition of Johnson gave Chicago fans the chance to get excited about an offensive braintrust that many believe is now one of the best in the National Football League, led by Johnson and his new offensive coordinator Declan Doyle.
Recently, Johnson was shown on camera extolling the possibilities surrounding a former Bears draft pick who could find himself on par with Detroit Lions superstar Penei Sewell, if all goes according to plan in Chicago.

"We had the luxury of a very good offensive line, that's what we look to capitalize on and feature," Johnson said recently.
"I see (former number ten overall pick) Darnell Wright very much in the same mold as a Penei Sewell.
"We tried to do things the last three years in Detroit to highlight Sewell in space, highlight him on one-on-one blocks, him against their best defensive lineman.
"I see the same thing for Darnell," Johnson said, adding that he saw "a lot of promise" on tape from the Bears tackle last year.
