Ruben Amorim ‘confirms’ miraculous injury recovery of Man Utd ace, ‘We are really…’

Manchester United are entering the business end of the season and Ruben Amorim needs all the help he can get in this brutal run.

The Europa League remains the focus but finishing each place higher in the league is worth almost £2.5 million which is goldust for a beleaguered club.

Therefore, the international break came at the perfect time as Man Utd welcome back multiple players from injuries, with the likes of Leny Yoro, Harry Maguire, and Mason Mount all returning.

However, the biggest boost has now been confirmed by Amorim in what is a truly miraculous recovery by the Man Utd ace.

Ruben Amorim gives Amad injury update

Amad’s breakout season was halted in its tracks in February when he picked up a ligament injury in training, ruling him out for the season.

The Ivorian had quickly become Amorim’s talisman, one of the few players giving Amorim what he needs from his team.

Therefore, when his absence for the season was effectively confirmed, Man Utd fans could be forgiven for switching off and waiting it out until the next season.

However, Amad himself wasn’t thinking that way as a testament to his dedication and professionalism.

Amorim has now confirmed previous reports on Amad’s injury and said that the team is confident they can get him back on the pitch before the end of the season.

He said: “I can confirm we feel Amad can still be playing this season, he will try. I don’t know when, but we are really confident on that.”

Amad’s return timed perfectly

If Man Utd’s season is still alive in May by progressing in the Europa League, then Amad will be driven to make a true fairytale return.

The whole outlook of the season can change in a moment if United win the Europa League and their chances will be better than ever if their talisman returns.

That goal in the distance might also be what is driving Amad to accelerate his recovery and minimise the time he’s out for as much as possible.

It can even be argued that if United are out of the Europa League by then, it would be better to shut Amad down and bring him back next season fully fresh.

It all depends on the Europa League, starting with Lyon in the quarterfinals.
