Ruben Amorim has taken another swipe at Marcus Rashford when asked if the forward still has a future at Manchester United. Rashford was shipped out on loan to Aston Villa in January after being frozen out by Amorim and appears to have rediscovered his form.
Rashford has scored two goals and provided four assists in 10 appearances for Villa so far and was named player of the match after starring in their FA Cup quarter-final win over Preston on Sunday.

Villa do have an option to make Rashford's loan move permanent in the summer for £40million, but there remains a chance that the England international could return to Old Trafford when the season is over.
And when asked if the door is open for Rashford to return, Amorim tellingly stated that he is a top player but only "if he wants" to be. "I know Rashford really well and everybody knows the talent that he has," Amorim said.

"So I already spoke about that. He's a top player, if he wants. So I'm not surprised. And like I said, it's the same with Antony, it's a good thing.
"We see our players doing well on loan in a different context. That can happen and it's a good sign for the club."
Amorim previously aimed a brutal dig at Rashford before his move to Villa when he claimed he would rather put 63-year-old goalkeeping coach Jorge Vital on the bench instead of the forward. Speaking after United's 1-0 win over Fulham in January, Amorim said: "We missed a little bit of pace to go and change the game and move some pieces.
"But I prefer it like that. I would put Vital before I put the player who does not give the maximum every day so I will not change in that department. It's always the same reason. The reason is the training.

"The way I see what a footballer should do in training, in life, every day. If things don't change, I will not change. Same situation for every player, if you do the maximum, if you do the right things, we can use every player."
It remains to be seen where Rashford's long-term future lies, with Villa boss Unai Emery remaining non-committal when quizzed on the subject. "Not yet. The most important thing is the challenge now and this afternoon, recovering and then preparing for the match against Brighton tomorrow," he said
"Still there are a lot of matches to play. If we are in the Champions League, if we are in the Europa League, if we are in the European Conference League or not in Europe or winning a trophy, it is completely different.
"A decision about each individual players… it is to get the best of them and the best of us. We don't want to waste time thinking about it."
