Newcastle United are determined to keep Alexander Isak away from Arsenal and Liverpool.
Both clubs would love to sign Alexander Isak. That is no surprise given how talented the Newcastle United striker is. In fact, Arsenal and Liverpool have seen first-hand how good Isak is this season, conceding two goals each.
He is the striker that every club wants, but only Newcastle United have.
Newcastle want to keep Isak, and they are going to make it as difficult as possible for any suitor, be it Arsenal or Liverpool, to take him away.

What Arsenal have accepted about Alexander Isak
While Mikel Arteta would no doubt do whatever it takes to bring Isak to North London, there appears to be a growing acceptance that a deal is not going to happen.
According to the Athletic, Arsenal are beginning to feel as if it will be ‘impossible’ to agree a deal with Newcastle United for Isak.
Instead, Arsenal are looking at Viktor Gyokeres.
Liverpool’s Alexander Isak problem
As for Liverpool, they simply might not be able to afford the Sweden international.
MORE NEWCASTLE STORIES
The Athletic state that Liverpool are ‘unlikely’ to pay £150million for Isak, which is the valuation that has been floated.
Isak has a contract with Newcastle until 2028, while he becomes more valuable with every goal he scores. That is why Isak could be too expensive for any suitor.
Geordie Boot Boys have been told that Liverpool think they can sign Isak, but the reason for that belief is unknown.
Unless the Reds can find a spare £150million, they are not going to be able to land the superstar striker.
But Newcastle know their Isak position can become even stronger. Champions League qualification will help keep him at St James’ Park, while Newcastle want to hand Isak a new contract.
If he does sign a new deal, Isak will become Newcastle’s highest paid player.
