Arsenal vs Fulham: Premier League Preview, Gameweek 30, 2025

The reverse fixture between these two sides came in December as the tie finished 1-1 with goals from Raul Jiménez and William Saliba.

Arsenal currently sit second in the league on 58 points. However, it appears the title race for this season is all but over as they sit 12 points behind Liverpool with nine games to go.

This clash marks the return of star attacker Bukayo Saka. However, his minutes may be limited at first with a crucial Champions League Quarter Final clash with Real Madrid in the coming weeks. Gunners boss, [**Mikel Arteta](https://www.vavel.com/en/football/2025/03/12/arsenal/1216676-arsenal-2-2-9-3-agg-psv-eindhoven-zinchenko-and-rice-on-target-for-gunners-as-they-progress-to-quarter-final.html)**did confirm he's ready to start.

But it could be the case that he does not play the full 90 or plays only a portion in the second half.

Fulham currently sit 8th in the league on 45 points and remain in the race for a place in one of the three European competitions.

Due to England’s coefficient rankings, it is expected that there will be five teams in the Champions League in the 2025/26 season which means 8th will earn a Conference League spot.

The Cottagers last played in Europe in the 2011/12 season where they were knocked out in the Group Stage of the Europa League where they faced Twente, Wisla Krakow and Odense.

Before the international break the hosts were on impressive form having not lost in their last five games in all competitions. They most recently beat Chelsea 1-0 before the break.

The visitors returned to action post March break on the weekend hosting Crystal Palace in the FA Cup Quarter Finals. The Eagles got the better of them winning 3-0 and making it to Wembley.

But before the International break, they took down the host's rivals, Tottenham, winning 2-0.
