King's ranks in top 20 QS World University Rankings for Arts & Humanities

King's has ranked 17th in the world for Arts & Humanities in 2025, rising five places.

King's College London has been named as one of the [world’s top universities for the study of 42 subjects](https://www.kcl.ac.uk/news/kings-ranks-among-worlds-best-in-42-subjects) in the latest edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject, including 17th for Arts & Humanities.

The QS World University rankings offer an extensive overview of international higher education performance, with more than 1700 institutions ranked across 55 narrow subjects and five broad subject areas. It takes into account key areas of performance such as student experience, university partnerships, research activity and faculty qualifications.
