Leeds United fans are on edge due to the team’s poor form, which is threatening to nuke their hopes of earning automatic promotion to the Premier League. The supporters received more bad news last week when the club announced a major hike to the season ticket prices, which will hit the pockets of the fans next season.
Daniel Farke and his Leeds United players are working hard to get their season back on track ahead of facing Luton Town away from home next weekend.

However, there is an air of discontent amongst Leeds supporters after the 49ers announced last week that they will have to pay more money for a season ticket next season.
Adult season tickets have been raised by 14% at the base rate, with the cheapest adult season ticket rising from £434 to £495 for the 2025/26 campaign.
The Leeds United owners have been fired a warning shot by supporters
Lord John Mann, chairman of the Leeds United Supporters Club and member of the House of Lords, has come out strongly against the hike in prices.
He insisted that price rice would only be justified if Leeds are in the Premier League next season, and the fans would be happy to pay more money to be in the top flight.
However, Mann warned the 49ers that they should be prepared for angry fans and empty seats at Elland Road next season if Leeds are still in the Championship.
“People would be a bit annoyed if we’re in the Championship, but if we get promoted…most people were expecting this. It’s what people would anticipate”, he told Leeds Live.
“There will be a big difference if we were in the Premier League in terms of people’s expectations [for ticket prices]. Fans presume we should be in the Premier League.
“If the club starts to dwindle away because we are not promoted, and are stuck in the Championship, then people will be more discerning. Some of the decisions will start to backfire, especially if we don’t have young kids going in and we have empty seats.”
The 49ers have not thought this through
Season ticket prices have been going up across the country, and Leeds are not the first club to jack up the rates for the 2025/26 campaign.
However, a 14 percent hike is a steep rise for any football fan, and the Leeds supporters are rightly angered by the decision made by the 49ers last week.

The Leeds owners must pray for promotion, as such a hike could only be justified if the fans are provided with top-flight football next season, and the supporters would be happy to pay.
However, it would backfire massively if Leeds are still in the Championship, and the anger of the fans could end up having an effect on the team.
