Kansas City Chiefs ATBuffalo Bills

The Bills and Chiefs are embroiled in arguably the AFC’s top rivalry — though, with Kansas City having eliminated Buffalo from the postseason four times in the Patrick Mahomes - Josh Allen era, it has become a little one-sided, like Notre Dame vs. Navy. All right, that might be a bit harsh, because the Bills do always seem to get the better of the Chiefs in the regular season, including their past four such matchups. Then again, those wins come with much lower stakes than their playoff showdowns. You’d think all that context might take some juice out of this game, because the true test won’t come until the postseason — but Mahomes vs. Allen will always be must-see TV. And Buffalo will surely want to shed any lingering memories of these teams’ last encounter.

Chiefs Secure Additional International Marketing and Commercial Rights via NFL’s Global Markets Program | The Mothership

The National Football League announced today that the Kansas City Chiefs have been awarded marketing and commercialization rights for the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Spain as part of the NFL’s Global Markets Program. These three new markets add to the Chiefs existing rights in Mexico, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, bringing the team’s total to seven, among the highest in the NFL.

“We are incredibly excited to bring Chiefs football to fans in the UK, Ireland and Spain,” Chiefs Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt said. “As the game grows globally, more and more fans from around the world are becoming a part of Chiefs Kingdom. Kansas City has certainly made a name for itself in the global sports landscape, and we are proud to showcase our town and our team on the international stage.”

2025 NFL mock draft: Cam Ward, Shedeur Sanders fly off the board as quarterbacks go in first two picks | CBS Sports

Round 1 - Pick 31

Josh Conerly Jr. OT

Oregon • Jr • 6’5” / 311 lbs

The Eagles exposed the Chiefs’ offensive tackles in Super Bowl LIX. The 2024 first-team All-Big Ten left tackle allowed the lowest quarterback pressure rate (1.6%) in the conference in 2024 (minimum 400 snaps) and surrendered just two sacks on 1,032 career pass block snaps. Kansas City takes care of Patrick Mahomes here.

31.Kansas City Chiefs: DIWalter Nolen,Ole Miss

Nolen’s run-defense prowess and overall upside are too good for Kansas City to pass up here. He trailed only Michigan’s Mason Graham in PFF run-defense grade (91.6) in his lone season at Ole Miss. His pass-rush potential started to shine as he generated 35 pressures and six sacks. Kansas City still has three picks on Day 2 to improve a thin offensive line.

31. Kansas City Chiefs

Selection: Kelvin Banks, OT, Texas

Kansas City got aggressive with another big-money free agent contract for its offensive line when it signed Jaylon Moore. However, the last time the Chiefs got upstaged in the Super Bowl as they did by Philadelphia, they overinvested in the group to ensure they had the horses needed to fix the unit.

They added Joe Thuney, Creed Humphrey, and Trey Smith…all in the same offseason. After moving on from Thuney, the Chiefs are more than just an ambitious contract to Moore away from righting the ship up front.

Kansas City Chiefs

Hill has been open about the fact that he never wanted to leave Kansas City. He simply wanted a new contract, and the two sides could not reach an agreement. Hill has even left the door open for a return to the Chiefs.

The Chiefs have solid receivers in Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice, but the latter is working his way back from a major knee injury. Travis Kelce’s best days are also behind him. If Kansas City wants to keep its Super Bowl appearance streak alive, adding Hill would be one way to instantly boost its chances.

Giants won’t force QB selection at No. 3, GM Joe Schoen says | ESPN

New York signed Winston then Wilson over the past 10 days. Schoen said Wilson will get the first-team reps as the starter beginning in the spring and Winston was “aware” of what they were doing at the quarterback position by signing another veteran afterward.

It at least opens the door for the Giants to go in another direction with their top pick, perhaps cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter or edge rusher Abdul Carter, if they’re still available.

“We’re in a position where we can take who we think is the best football player at that time,” Schoen said at the NFL’s annual league meeting.

Chiefs News: Head coach Andy Reid speaks on proposed ‘tush push’ ban

On Monday morning, Kansas City Chiefs’ head coach Andy Reid was among the coaches who weighed in on Green Bay’s proposal.

“I give them credit, because they’ve done a heck of a job with it,” said Reid of the Eagles’ play, per Pro Football Talk. “[It’s a] tough play to stop.”

But Reid believes that if it increases the risk of injury, it should be disallowed.

“Listen, if it’s an injury concern, then that’s what you have to do,” he noted. “So you listen to your medical people — see what their thought is — [and] probably go that direction.”
