When it comes to tricking out your PC, the CPU cooler is prime real estate. It faces directly out your ATX case window, and it has a decent amount of surface area that’s just begging for customization. That’s especially true for liquid coolers, although air coolers shouldn’t be counted out. We’ve always liked the transparent panels that let you see liquid in the channels of your CPU water block and we don’t mind LEDs, either, but a display panel right on the cooler is far more exciting. A small number of cooler manufacturers are taking things a step further with curved cooler displays, and Asus is now joining that club with its upcoming ROG Ryuo IV SLC 360 ARGB. The cooler sports a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display that could be the centerpiece of your next PC build.

Asus's website has very little information about the ROG Ryuo IV SLC 360, but according to Videocardz, the cooler might be available in June. The display has a 60Hz refresh rate and will be capable of playing video. Asus states that the display will support “nake-eye video or customized system information.”

The cooler will include pre-mounted, daisy-chained ARGB fans that have front and side lighting and are capable of up to 71.44 CFM airflow. The copper waterblock is expected to support LGA 1851, 1700, AM5, and AM4 sockets. The radiator will be 394 by 140 by 32mm.

Asus isn’t first to the curved display game. The Tryx Panorama series of liquid coolers is already available and has a 6.5-inch AMOLED display. It comes with content so you can display images that wrap around the entire L-shape or display two images: one on the top of the block and the other on the side. Naturally, the software lets you also display information about your PC, including internal temperatures, CPU frequency, and other stats. Although the Panorama’s 6.50-inch display is only .27 inches shorter than the one on the upcoming ROG cooler, the result is that (based on the images of the coolers that we’ve seen so far) the ROG display has more of an L-shape to it, making for a longer forward-facing portion of the screen. The Tryx Panorama cooler starts at about $300 at Amazon and offers a 2K resolution at 60Hz.

And Thermaltake, which has a long history of building PC cases, coolers, and other hardware, announced its own L-shaped liquid cooler display at CES 2025 in January. That system, the MAGCurve AIO, has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 2,400-by-1,080 resolution. When the MAGCurve AIO is available, you’ll be able to use a Thermaltake app on your phone to configure the display.
