Lebanese President warns Israeli airstrike on Beirut suburb signals grave threats

Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun warned that Israeli occupation airstrike on Beiruts southern suburb early Tuesday is a serious warning of premeditated threats against Lebanon.

Aoun condemned the attack that killed three people and injured four others, is the second such strike since the November 26 agreement. He described it as a dangerous signal, particularly given its timing, which comes just after the signing of an agreement in Jeddah to regulate the Lebanese-Syrian border.

The Lebanese president stressed that Israel's continued aggression demands intensified efforts to rally global support and prevent further external violations. He also emphasized the need for greater national unity behind common objectives to safeguard Lebanon and seize the exceptional opportunity for its recovery.

Earlier Tuesday, Israeli forces launched an airstrike on Beirut's southern suburb, killing three people and injuring seven others so far. (
