U18s report: Arsenal 2-1 Fulham

Our Under-18s produced a spirited second-half comeback to secure victory against Fulham at Sobha Realty Training Centre.

Goals from Louis Zecevic John, and Max Dowman turned the game around after we fell behind early on.

### What Happened

We found ourselves trailing after just 14 minutes when a defensive error allowed Tom Wingate to capitalise and fire the visitors into the lead.

Throughout the first half, we struggled to create clear-cut chances, though Dowman showed flashes of brilliance with his dribbling. Our best opportunity came just before the break when Zecevic John was denied from close range by a superb save from Fulham goalkeeper Dino Kaiser.

After the interval, we came out with renewed energy and eventually found the equaliser midway through the second half. Josh Ogunnaike’s strike rattled the post, and Zecevic John was on hand to tap in the rebound.

With 10 minutes left on the clock, we completed the turnaround. Dowman won possession high up the pitch before unleashing a powerful shot to secure all three points and our third win in a row.

### What It Means

The victory takes us to 28 points from 17 games played.

### What’s Next?

Our Under-18s will be back in action on Saturday, April 5, as we travel to the East Midlands to face Leicester City in the U18 Premier League. Kick-off at Leicester City Training Ground is scheduled for 11.30am (UK time).
