Latest NFL Mock Draft Has a Team Trading Up For LSU Star Will Campbell

A few days ago, Athlon's Luke Easterling released his newest 2025 NFL Mock Draft, and he has an NFC West team trading up to select LSU's highest-rated prospect, Will Campbell.

Will Campbell is viewed as the top offensive lineman in the 2025 class and is projected to be a top-10 pick. There are multiple teams in the top-10 that need an offensive tackle, but Easterling has a team jumping up eight spots to select their tackle of the future.

In Easterling's mock, the Seattle Seahawks trade up with the Chicago Bears, sending picks 18 and 50 to jump ahead of their division rivals, the San Fransisco 49ers, to select Campbell. He projects the 49ers would've taken Campbell at 11 if the Seahawks didn't leapfrog them.

The Seahawks made a massive change this offseason by dumping Geno Smith in favor of Sam Darnold, who they gave a 3-year, 100-million dollar deal to earlier this offseason. Pro Football Network ranked the Seahawks' offensive line 31st out of 32 teams last season after they allowed a near-40% pressure rate in 2024. It's quite obvious the Seahawks need help on the offensive line, and Campbell could slide right in as a day-one starter.

Campbell could have multiple suitors inside the top-10, including a few teams in the back half of the first round who could very well trade up for him. Virtually everyone needs some sort of help on their offensive line, and with Campbell projected to play either tackle or guard, it's hard to guess where he's going to end up.

There's just a few more weeks until we get our answer, but for now, we can only speculate on where the LSU All-American will end up.
