Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray’s Injury Status for Timberwolves-Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets are at home on Tuesday night as they take on the red-hot Minnesota Timberwolves.

Denver enters Tuesday's contest amid a two-game winning streak and they have also won five of their last 10 games.

They will now look to keep things rolling against a Timberwolves team that has won seven of their last 10 games as they continue to fight to stay out of a Play-In spot in the Western Conference standings.

Of course, Minnesota has had Denver's number over the last two seasons as they have defeated Denver in their last six matchups including a 115-95 blowout loss earlier in March.

For Denver, they may be without their star duo of Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray in Tuesday's game as they have listed both of them on their injury report.

Injury Report ahead of tomorrow's game against the Timberwolves:

PROBABLE:

Nikola Jokić (Left Ankle Impingement)

Christian Braun (Left Foot Strain)

QUESTIONABLE:

Jamal Murray (Right Hamstring Tightness)

Aaron Gordon (Illness/Right Calf Injury Management)

Jokic is listed as probable with a lingering left ankle injury and he is expected to play barring a setback before tipoff.

The superstar center recently returned from a five-game absence and the Nuggets have looked like a much better team with him in their starting lineup as they struggled a ton while he was out.

For Murray, he is listed as questionable due to right hamstring tightness that kept him out of Friday's victory over the Utah Jazz.

Of course, Murray has had five days to rest and the good news for the Nuggets is that he was able to go through practice on Monday, which could signal his return against the Timberwolves.

If Murray is sidelined for a second consecutive game, expect Russell Westbrook to remain in the starting lineup where he has thrived this season next to Jokic.

Denver has also listed Aaron Gordon as questionable and Christian Braun as probable for Tuesday's game.

Fans can catch Tuesday's matchup between the Timberwolves and Nuggets at 10:00 p.m. EST on TNT.
