It appears that Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to leave Liverpool this summer and join Real Madrid.
The right back has been linked with a move away from Anfield all season, as has Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk who are all about to finish their contracts at the club.
News broke last week that the Englishman's move to Spain was practically sealed, signed and delivered, and speaking at a press conference ahead of Liverpool's game against Everton tomorrow, manager Arne Slot has his say on the matter.
"His situation is unfortunately that he is injured. For him, that means he is fully focused on his recovery.
We're trying to help him to come back. We've never been focused on those talks.
"It's a situation that is there for eight or nine months now and I think that all these players have performed so well for us."
Slot also provided some updates on other injured players, including Conor Bradley who is being tipped as the natural heir to Trent's position next season.

"Ryan Gravenberch is fine, Alisson also trained with us. The final check-up will be later.
"Conor Bradley is back with us, but he's only had a few sessions after being out for quite some time, so we have to make a smart decision."

"We are so looking forward to these nine games, our players are refreshed. It's not all negative.
"We played a final and we got beaten to a very good PSG team. I was proud of our performance against PSG. Maybe the best performance this season but unfortunately we lost on penalties.
"In the final stages of the season, every game matters. Nine finals, but it is for every team.
"These games are very important for us, starting with Everton. Not only because it's the derby but because we're in such a great position as well."
Liverpool drew 2-2 with Everton at Goodison Park earlier this year, the last Merseyside derby in the stadium, but it was a late equaliser that stole a draw for the home team.
Slot and his men will be hoping to get revenge on their neighbours and take all three points tomorrow night in Anfield.
