Chelsea forward Joao Felix is undoubtedly a player who possesses a lot of ability.
You do not get moves to Chelsea, AC Milan, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona without some. Yet Felix has struggled at all of those clubs.
Despite signing the 25-year-old last summer, Chelsea could now sell Felix when the transfer window reopens.
Following his return to Stamford Bridge, one of his old teammates fired him a warning, but it does not seem like that message got through to the Portuguese attacker.

Yannick Carrasco warned Joao Felix not to solely rely on his talent after Chelsea move
Again, Felix is quite a gifted footballer, but Yannick Carrasco, who played alongside the Chelsea star at Atletico Madrid, has warned him that talent alone is not always enough to succeed.
Carrasco discussed Felix after his move to Chelsea last summer, telling one outlet: “Everyone knows in the world of football that he is a player with a lot of talent, he was born with a lot of talent, but you can see that in football sometimes talent is not the most important thing.
“It is also discipline, being focused, working, and Atleti is not an easy team because there you ask for a lot of effort and not just playing with talent. And it may be that with the coach it was a bit difficult, but as you can see he is a player with a lot of talent, he has always found top teams like Barca, Chelsea, Atleti.”
In total, the Portugal international has made 31 appearances for Chelsea and Milan combined this season.

Across those games, Felix has scored eight goals, with half coming in the Conference League. At that level, the former Atletico and Benfica player should be performing, so he will not get too many plaudits for that.

What AC Milan plan to do with Joao Felix
Felix has clearly not taken Carrasco’s words on board at Milan. His loan spell there has been a disaster and he now looks set to return to west London in the summer.
According to the reliable Fabrizio Romano, Milan have no intention of signing Felix permanently. It is not a surprise, as he has done very little since arriving at the San Siro.
While Felix can produce an excellent bit of skill or pull out a really neat trick, he has scored just one goal in a Milan shirt, which came in the Coppa Italia on his debut. That certainly sounds like someone who may just be relying on their natural talent at the moment.
