The West Ham United owners will be ruing a potential blockbuster deal over at Arsenal this summer.
West Ham face a very important summer transfer window ahead, as do Arsenal.
Graham Potter and Mikel Arteta both need to make some big changes to their squad, with numerous reinforcements needed at The London Stadium and The Emirates respectively.
The Hammers head coach wants to add more dynamism, energy and youth to his West Ham ranks, whilst Arteta is looking at adding some real superstar power to his squad.

The upcoming summer transfer window should be an incredibly exciting one.
However, if the Gunners wrap up one deal in particular, the Hammers owners will be ruing a huge mistake they made two years ago.
Arsenal deal for Viktor Gyokeres is bad news for West Ham
A game-changing deal could be incoming over at The Emirates in the summer transfer window.
According to talkSPORT, Arsenal are looking likely to sign Victor Gyokeres for around £58.5 million this summer.
MORE WEST HAM STORIES
The Sweden international would be a sensational addition for the Gunners – he has bagged 85 goals and 26 assists in 92 games for Sporting (Transfermarkt).
Back in the summer of 2023, Sporting signed the 26-year-old from Coventry City for just £18.5 million (Daily Mail).

However, West Ham could have signed Victor Gyokeres before Sporting got hold of him.
Horrendous Viktor Gyokeres mistake by West Ham
Annoyingly, the Hammers were too slow to act, and we missed out on him in the end.
The West Ham owners will be spitting feathers if Arsenal sign the Swede for just under £60 million.
The Hammers might not have been able to keep Gyokeres out of the Gunners’ grasp, if he were our player now.
However, the West Ham board would have been able to make an enormous profit on him.
West Ham not signing Viktor Gyokeres back in 2023 was a terrible decision, and it will be made to look even worse if Arsenal sign him for £58.5 million.
