The Green Bay Packers have full confidence that Jordan Love is their quarterback of the future. They proved that with a massive four-year $220 million contract. Love rewarded the Packers with back-to-back playoff appearances.
However, at the annual owners meeting this year in Palm Beach, Florida LaFleur disclosed some pretty telling injury news for their franchise quarterback.

According to Ryan Wood of USA Today:
Matt LaFleur says Jordan Love did not need a knee procedure after season.
He didn’t say how much knee injury affected Love last season, but LaFleur admired how his quarterback gutted through it.

Love not requiring off-season surgery is huge for the 2025 season. According to NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, Love suffered an MCL sprain during the Packers’ season-opening loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil.
The recovery timeline for Love — whose ACL is intact — was in the range of three to six weeks, but he returned after missing just two games. It was clear though that Love’s injury impacted him throughout the year.
