Office, bank, school and higher education institution operating hours will return to normal schedules from April 6, Mehr News Agency reported on April 1.
The return to regular schedules comes after the conclusion of the Nowruz holiday period, when many Iranian institutions operate on reduced or modified schedules to accommodate the traditional Persian New Year celebrations.
The Administrative and Employment Affairs Organisation of Iran announced that office working hours from April 5 will be based on the Cabinet decree number "243187/T61011 H" dated March 19, 2023.
Mohammad Shafiee, spokesman for the organisation, said: "Operating hours for government executive agencies, banks, schools, higher education centres and guilds from April 6, 2025."
The announcement applies to military, police and security sectors, government offices, schools, universities and higher education centres, healthcare facilities and hospitals, businesses and marketplaces.
"The standardisation of working hours across all sectors aims to restore normal service delivery to citizens following the holiday period," Shafiee added.
