Arsenal defender Riccardo Calafiori is expected to be out for several weeks with a knee injury that he suffered over the international break.
The Italian is set to miss Arsenal’s next game against Fulham and could miss both Champions League quarter-final legs against Real Madrid in what is likely to be the Gunners’ last chance to win silverware this season.

Calafiori went out on international duty with the Italian national team and suffered a knee injury whilst he was in training between their two games against Germany in the Nations League.
Mikel Arteta said on Monday: “Calafiori unfortunately picked up a knee injury with the national team. It was really unfortunate how that injury happened, but it could have been much worse. So, hopefully, it’s going to be a matter of weeks. But we have to see how the injury evolves.”
He is expected to return the game after the Real Madrid tie which would be a major blow for Arteta and the Gunners.
Expected return date – Sunday 20 April vs Ipswich Town (A)
Kai Havertz
Striker Kai Havertz continues to recover from the hamstring injury that he suffered in February, which has forced Arteta to play midfielder Mikel Merino up front.
He picked up the issue whilst on a warm weather camp with the team in mid-February in Dubai, which was unexpected and a huge blow. He is expected to return before the start of next season, hoping to be available for the first match.

Takehiro Tomiyasu
Tomiyasu is working to return for the start of next season after he underwent his second surgery of the season on his knee in February.
He made just one appearance this season in December, and suffered a set back afterwards. It is no yet clear whether he will be ready for the start of next season.
Expected return date – October 2025
Gabriel Jesus
Brazilian striker Jesus has the most severe injury for Arsenal as he suffered an ACL injury in January which could keep him out until next year, which would be a huge blow for the striker himself.
As things stand, it doesn’t look like he will be ready for the start of next season, and will be working to make sure he appears for the Gunners again in 2025.
Expected return date – Late November 2025
