Kyle Walker would like Joao Felix to know he's no Lionel Messi

Things are not going great right now at AC Milan.

The Rossoneri are out of the Champions League and in ninth place in Serie A, struggling through one of the club's worst seasons in recent memory.

Milan hoped that a midseason coaching change and an injection of new signings would help right the ship at midseason, but things have only gone downhill since then.

Two of those new signings, Kyle Walker and João Félix, have experienced contrasting fortunes during their brief times at San Siro. While Walker has locked down the starting right-back role during his loan from Manchester City, Félix has flattered to deceive in his loan from Chelsea.

Félix scored on his Milan debut in February but since then, the Portugal international has no goals and one assist in 10 matches with the Rossoneri.

Some apparent frustration between the pair was picked up on a hot mic at halftime of Milan's match against Napoli on Sunday.

With Milan down 2-0 after an awful first half, Walker turned to Félix and said: “Just pass the ball! We are not Messi. No one here is Messi.”

That advice wouldn't have its desired impact. Félix was subbed out just 10 minutes into the second half and Milan would lose the match 2-1.
