Simon Jordan believes Aston Villa will snub Marcus Rashford

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Villa will make a Rashford decision in the summer once their season is over.

Whether Villa qualify for the Champions League will play a big factor in their decision whether to trigger Marcus Rashford’s buy option.

Villa are covering 75% of Rashford’s wages, which are understood to be around £300,000 per week. The Birmingham-based club will have to assess their PSR flexibility before committing to a permanent deal.

“He was too busy going out and not turning up for training under the last manager. Too busy having his birthday parties after being smashed to pieces by Manchester City.

“He put out a lovely little image about how wonderful training was under the new manager, three weeks later he announced to the world media that he wants to leave.

“I could guarantee you that Rashford is clever enough to know that if he stinks it out at Aston Villa he has a problem coming his way.

When asked if Villa will sign Rashford, Jordan replied: “No. I think they’re too wise for it. They won’t want to pay £320,000 per week and a £50m transfer fee. It’s too big a deal.”

Will Marcus Rashford return to Man United this summer?

In his latest press conference, Ruben Amorim left the door open for Rashford to return to Old Trafford in the summer.

The United coach has repeatedly spoke highly of the United academy star, despite having frozen him out of the squad before his loan move.

Amorim was highly critical of Rashford’s training, and he made it extremely clear that he will not play any player who is not giving 100 percent effort to the club.

Even if Villa choose not to sign Rashford, it feels inevitable that he will leave in the summer. Rashford’s ‘dream’ is to join Barcelona and the Spanish giants could reignite interest if he becomes available.

Rashford’s form has improved since he joined Villa, and he was also recalled to England by Thomas Tuchel so Ineos should not find it too difficult to find a suitor for around £40million.
