Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres has been linked with plenty of clubs in England. But, the north London side are leading the race to sign the player. He is one of their top targets this June. Berta is also said to be a huge fan of the forward.
The Sweden international has a tally of 85 goals and 26 assists in 92 games for Sporting. The fact that he is only playing his second campaign with the Portuguese club is incredible. He is also linked with Man Utd. He could play under his former manager Ruben Amorim.
Striker alternatives for Mikel Arteta
Newcastle’s Alexander Isak has been the main target for Mikel Arteta. However. the Magpies aren’t willing to sell their player anytime soon. Also, he has a huge price tag on him. While, his national teammate Gyokeres could be a reasonable signing for a fee around £63 million.

Another option could be RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko. Sesko has been tracked by the Gunners in the past. But, now it will be interesting to see if they go for him again this summer.
Crystal Palace’s forward Jean Philippe Mateta could also be a good option. He has been great for the Eagles this season so far. He has scored 25 goals in 40 games in all competitions under Palace head coach Oliver Glasner.
