Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City are all showing interest in English talent. The player is very highly rated and is already proving his worth in Premier League. He is valued by his current club at £100 million.

Arsenal are in need to sign some midfielders this summer as both Thomas Partey and Jorginho are set to leave. They will prefer a holding midfielder who can also play in central area. They are close to sign Zubimendi but are also keen to add another one.

Chelsea are also willing to add another midfielder to their unit this summer. They are worried by the long-term future of Romeo Lavia due to injuries. On the other hand, Liverpool are also keen to sign midfielder after getting snubbed by Zubimendi last summer.

Lastly, Man City are likely to part ways with some of their current midfielders. They are also willing to find a proper backup for Rodri who’s absence haunted Pep Guardiola. All of these four clubs have now came across one target in common.

Wharton is viewed as a player with very high caliber. He has already made his debut for England national team which displays his high quality. He is now a regular starter for Palace but has played only 18 games this season due to being sidelined because of injury.

Wharton can be a great addition for any of the above mentioned clubs. This will be a huge step-up in his career. The 21 year old will prefer to join a club which can guarantee his regular minutes. It will be interesting to see which jersey he wears next.
