Everton have been strongly linked with a potential move for Richarlison in the summer.
The 2024/25 campaign has seen Everton’s forward options depleted through injuries throughout the campaign.
David Moyes wants Everton to sign a new forward and has done so since the moment he arrived in January.
The same issues from earlier in the season have begun to creep up again on the Blues with only three goals scored across their last three games.
Enough has been done realistically to secure Everton’s future in the top flight ahead of next season, but there is some serious work to be done in the transfer window.
Even ahead of the summer, it seems James Tarkowski is not overly convinced Richarlison would provide that much of an improvement with his latest comments.

James Tarkowski issues Richarlison verdict at Everton
Ahead of the summer, Everton are showing an interest in re-signing Richarlison who has struggled since leaving.
It has been a dismal few years in north London for the Brazilian forward who has suffered from some frustrating injuries.

Amid the links back to Goodison Park, Tarkowski has already admitted there is a player he thinks is better than Richarlison.

Ironically, that player is himself, with the Everton defender backing his own ability over the Brazilian international.
In the same game being played between the Everton squad members, Ashley Young named Richarlison as the fastest player he’s ever seen at Everton.
Richarlison recently teased Everton fans on social media earlier in the week with a post of him in an Everton shirt.
However, with two years remaining on his deal at Tottenham Hotspur, it may not be an easy deal to facilitate this summer.
James Tarkowski did score a stunner against Liverpool
Richarlison has scored some stunning goals during his career with the strike in the World Cup springing to mind.
However, it is the central defender who could potentially boast the best goal between them for the Toffees.
Tarkowski scored that sensational strike against Liverpool at Goodison back in February in what will surely be the best goal of his career.
Although he is jokingly backing himself, the defender does actually have some evidence of scoring an absolute stunner.
