27. There seems be a lack of movement in attack from Arsenal.
When someone is on the ball, no one is making a run into the potckets of space to offer themselves as an option.
The visitors are sitting in two banks of four and looking solid.

25. It is all looking a bit pedestrian from Arsenal.
The biggest cheer of the game so far has been for Saka who took to the touchline to warm up.
It may take a Fulham goal to spark the hosts into life here.

23. Martinelli floats a cross towards the back post.
It evades everyone apart from Nwaneri.
He hits it on the volley but it is beaten away by Leno.
Good effort from the youngster.

21. Fulham will be content with the start to this game.
They have seen plenty of the ball but when out of possession, The Gunners have struggled to create anything.
Silva will have planned for this, then hoping to see his side punish the hosts on the counter-attack.

19. There will be some concern over the defender's fitness.
Aside from an impossible mountain to climb in the Premier League, they have a Champions League quarter-final to look forward to against Real Madrid.
Arteta's side could do with a goal now to pick up the confidence in North London.

17. An early blow for Mikel Arteta.
Gabriel went down clutching his hamstring and has been forced off, with Kiwior replacing him.
He had a to wait a while for the ball to go out of play and argues with the referee as to why he did not stop play.
Classi Arsenal, privaleged to the core.
It was not a head injury so no need for the referee to intervene.

15. Timber swings in a teasy low cross in behind the defence.
There is no one attacking the ball as a striker would.
Martinelli is at the back post but is on his heels and the chance passes.

13. Arsenal have appointed Andrea Berta as their new Sporting Director.
There was a void left by the departure of Edu earlier in the season.
Some fans see this as the final piece of the jigsaw but in reality the Brazilian seemed to do a good job yet The Gunners are still some way off major silverware.

11. Nwaneri looks to cut inside onto his left foot.
The visitors seem wise to it and track his run.
As a result, he continues to take the ball away from goal, a long way from anywhere he can hurt Fulham.

9. The Cottagers went out of the FA Cup on the weekend with a whimper as Crystal Palace battered them.
Marco Silva will want to see his side bounce back from that performance in this London derby tonight.
If they are going to ssecure a European finish, they need to start picking up points against the sides above them.

7. Martinelli does well with his pace to beat his man and get to the byline.
He cuts it back to Partey in the box, but he drags his shot well wide of the target.
Dreadful effort, The Gunners need to be clinical in front of goal.

5. The visitors have made a good start to the game.
So many sides sit deep and look to absorb what The Gunners throw at them.

3. The hosts came into this game in confident mood.
News that Bukayo Saka had returned to first-team training was just what the fans needed to hear.
Arsenal cannot afford to drop a single point if they want to keep that tiny glimmer of hope that they can leapfrog leaders Liverpool this season.

1. That will have been a weird feeling for Emile Smith-Rowe.
Taking kick-off at The Emirates in a Fulham shirt will have been an odd emotion.
However, he is no longer a Gunner and will be looking to inflict some pain on his old employers tonight.

View from SunSport's Jordan Davies at The Emirates
Bukayo Saka has just jogged down the tunnel to a standing ovation from the Arsenal fans, but they will have to wait a bit longer for him to make his first appearance for the club for 101 days.
Mikel Arteta admits it was a big call to bench the returning the Saka, but probably the right one.
Other than that, a rather subdued atmosphere in North London. Twelve points could be cut to nine in the title race, but not a lot to wet the appetite...
That is unless Fulham could shock everyone and beat Arsenal on their own patch in the league for the first time EVER.

Lewis-Skelly's superb break
Miles Lewis-Skelly has had a great time of things during the break from club football.
Playing at left-back, Lewis-Skelly scored on debut for England against Albania.
He made a further appearance against Latvia a few days later.
A fine few days for Lewis-Skelly.

Last time out
The Gunners and The Cottagers were unable to be separated last time they met.
Raul Jimenez gave the hosts the lead 11 minutes in at Craven Cottage.
Arsenal came back, and had a level after a tight offside call went in their favour, and William Saliba headed in from close range.
Bukayo Saka then thought he had given Arsenal a late win, but Gabriel Martinelli was adjudged to have been in an offside position in the build-up.

Bukayo Saka is BACK
English talisman Bukayo Saka has returned from his hamstring injury and makes the squad to face Fulham tonight.
Saka has been out of action since Arsenal's win over Crystal Palace before the turn of the year.
Now, as Arteta's side gear up for the run-in, Saka has given them a HUGE boost.
He only makes the bench tonight, but his return will be a big boost for Arteta and Arsenal as they prepare to take on Real Madrid in the Champions League.
