Gabriel Magalhaes had to be substituted off with a suspected hamstring injury in Arsenal’s Premier League clash against Fulham.
Just 14 minutes into the critical match in the title race at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night, the Gunners' defensive rock went down injured clutching his leg.
His manager Mikel Arteta looked on anxiously as the centre-back was in clear need of treatment, but Arsenal played on as the home side were on the attack.
However, they then lost the ball and Fulham quite rightly ignored Arsenal's pleas to kick the ball out, as Arteta now started complaining.
But he now may have far more to worry about ahead of the huge first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie versus Real Madrid next week.

Gabriel received treatment on the pitch for what appeared to be a hamstring injury. And he was soon substituted - grimacing in pain and biting his shirt as he made his way off the pitch.
He was replaced by Jakub Kiwior as a hushed silence fell over the stadium, with Gunners fans and Arteta no doubt praying the injury isn't as serious as it looked.
Arsenal went into the game desperate to reduce Liverpool's 12-point lead at the top of the Premier League table, with Arteta's second placed side fighting to keep the title race alive.
And they took the lead shortly before the interval thanks to a very fortunate strike from Mikel Merino in the 37th minute.
The makeshift centre forward's shot took a huge deflection off Fulham defender Jorge Cuenca and beat Bernd Leno in goal.
