Kyler Gordon enters the final year of his rookie contract. Due to Proven Performance Escalators, which rewards second to seventh-round picks for playing a significant amount of playing time, he is scheduled to earn a $3.656 million base salary along with a $4.529 million cap hit in 2025. Finally, since he completed his third regular season, Gordon can negotiate and sign an extension this offseason, per Article 7, Section 3 (k) (i) of the CBA.

During the annual NFL League Meetings, General Manager Ryan Poles told the media that extending Kyler Gordon will be a priority this offseason. Poles went on to say that while they will prioritize keeping players who fit their new coaching staff’s scheme, he believes he’s a fit, and they want to move forward with him as their starting cornerback.
