Michelle Beadle Calls Out NBA for Timberwolves vs. Pistons Brawl Suspension Decision

The Detroit Pistons and Minnesota Timberwolves engaged in a brawl that caught the attention of the NBA world on Sunday, March 30, during a Timberwolves win that came against a Cade Cunningham-less Detroit team.

On Tuesday, suspensions were reportedly handed down to players who had roles in the brawl, including Detroit Pistons enforcer Isaiah Stewart, who is expected to receive a two-game suspension according to NBA reporter Shams Charania.

The news caused former ESPN personality Michelle Beadle to react with a strong take on X as she called out the NBA's reported punishment against one of the key players in the brawl.

"FreeIsaiah," Beadle wrote in response to Charania's listing of the NBA's suspensions for Timberwolves and Pistons players.

The brawl spilled into the crowd as Ron Holland and Donte DiVincenzo of the Timberwolves hashed out their differences physically.

Stewart came flying in to protect his teammate. Many fans backed up Beadle. They thought Stewart received an unfair suspension as a result of his motives in the brawl and reputation.

"Why did Stewart get two games?" one fan mused.

"2 for Stew??? 100% based on reputation. Donte and Reid started it; they deserve 2. Cmon NBA," another said.

"Detroit should get more games. They started it," another fan said.

"Beef stew hatred bias he's innocent," another fan stated.
