Arsenal 2-1 Fulham – player ratings

Bukayo Saka returned to action after three months to score a second half goal which turned out to be a vital one as Arsenal beat Fulham 2-1 at the Emirates this evening.

Mikel Merino’s deflected effort put the Gunners ahead in a stodgy first half, but Mikel Arteta’s side were better in the second period. Saka’s back-post header doubled the lead, but Fulham had chances in the final stages, with Rodrigo Muniz scoring in injury time having missed a glorious chance just a few minutes earlier.

It wasn’t a classic, but Saka’s back and we have three points under our belts.

Here’s how the players rated this evening.
