Draymond Green is one of the best defenders the NBA has seen in the 21st century if not all time. He has ahcored four title-winning teams and was the best defeder on the 73-win Golden State Warriors, and will have a spot in the Hall of Fame when he retires.
Even in his age-35 season, Green is still one of the best defenders in the NBA, and the league celebrated it on Tuesday.
Green and Atlanta Hawks' guard Dyson Daniels were named the Defensive Players of the Month for each of their conferences. Green averaged 1.9 steals and 0.9 blocks per game in March, and the Warriors boasted the fourth-best team defense in large part thanks to his contributions.
It is Daniels' second time winning this season, and Green's first.

The Warriors went a stellar 11-4 in March, and look the part of a title-worthy team. Green won Defensive Player of the Year in 2017 and received votes in five seasons since then, but is finally the frontrunner to win the award again this season, with -160 odds, according to FanDuel.

In order to secure the trophy, Green will have to play in five of the Dub's next eight games to meet the 65-game minimum, which is the only reason frontrunner Victor Wembanyama, who was the preseason favorite, will not win his first trophy.
