Bucks Reveal Giannis Antetokounmpo Update for Suns Game

Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has been dealing with a lingering foot injury of late. So much so, that it initially put his status for Tuesday's game against the Phoenix Suns in jeopardy.

The former back-to-back MVP was forced to sit out Wednesday's marquee matchup against the Denver Nuggets with the same issue, and there was a little bit of doubt on his status for Tuesday's contest after he was included in the injury report.

However, after initially being listed as probable to play, the Bucks were able to confirm before tip-off that Antetokounmpo will be able to take the floor for Tuesday's clash against the Suns at Fiserv Forum.

Tuesday's matchup against the Suns is an important game for the Bucks, who are coming off four straight losses. They have fallen to 40-34 on the season and are in danger of losing their grip on the sixth and final Play-In seed in the Eastern Conference.

Heading into Tuesday's game, Milwaukee remains four games ahead of the Atlanta Hawks, who currently occupy the seventh seed. The Bucks still have a considerable margin with eight games remaining in the regular season, but this could change quickly if they keep on losing games.

The Suns, on the other hand, are fighting to stay alive. Kevin Durant and Co. enter Tuesday's contest one game outside the Play-In picture out West.
