Devin Booker has spent his entire career with the Phoenix Suns, who drafted the shooting guard with the 13th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.
While no player is safe in the NBA anymore after the Dallas Mavericks traded Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers, it doesn't appear Booker will be leaving Phoenix anytime soon.
During an interview with Logan Murdock of The Ringer, Booker said he doesn't want to leave the Suns, who are in 11th place in the Western Conference standings despite having Booker, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal.
"It's not always greener on the other side," Booker said. "People always want to leave their situation and end up in a worse situation and then they go missing. You'll never have the love like you have by the team that drafted you."
Booker has career averages of 24.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 5.2 assists. He has made four All-Star teams and two All-NBA teams.
A Kentucky product, Booker once scored 70 points against the Boston Celtics in Boston in 2017. The talented scorer is averaging 25.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 7.0 assists for the Suns this season.
If the regular season ended today, Booker and the Suns wouldn't even be in the play-in tournament.
"It's upsetting," Booker told Murdock. "Ultimately when you're playing with this type of talent, you expect a championship. And our first year linking up together was our best run at it, winning two games [against] Denver. And ever since then, it's kind of been downhill."
The Suns are 35-40. They have seven games left in the season.
