HONG KONG -- China is girding for impact as U.S. President Donald Trump prepares to unveil new tariffs on Wednesday afternoon in Washington, testing Beijing's resolve.
Analysts say China has plenty of tools it could deploy to cushion the blow -- further monetary easing, fiscal packages to boost household consumption and reversing years-long regulatory clampdowns that have stifled private investment.
