Pistons Make 3-Word Statement Following Punishment From NBA

The Detroit Pistons have been the biggest surprise of the NBA season thus far as they have completely turned their franchise around.

Of course, the Pistons finished with the worst record in the league in the last two seasons but that has changed this year as they are currently in a playoff spot.

Detroit currently sits fifth in the Eastern Conference standings with 42-33 record and they are just two games behind the Indiana Pacers for fourth in the East standings.

Not only has Detroit turned their franchise completely around from the prior two seasons, but they have also brought back and physicality that the franchise has been known for, especially during the "Bad Boy Pistons" days.

That was shown in Sunday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves when there was a brawl during the game.

On Tuesday, the NBA announced the punishment for the players involved in the scuffle during Sunday's game which included three Pistons players.

Isaiah Stewart was hit with a two-game suspension because of the brawl while Ron Holland and Marcus Sasser were both suspended for one game.

NBA discipline for Pistons-Timberwolves scuffle, sources tell ESPN:

- Isaiah Stewart: 2 game suspension

- Donte DiVincenzo: 1 game suspension

- Ron Holland: 1 game suspension

- Naz Reid: 1 game suspension

- Marcus Sasser: 1 game suspension

For Minnesota, Donte DiVincenzo received a one-game suspension and Naz Reid will also sit one game due to a suspension.

After the NBA announced the punishment for the brawl, the Pistons made a three-word statement on social media.

"Detroit vs. Everybody," the Pistons posted on X.

Detroit vs. Everybody

Of course, the Pistons are buying into their old "Bad Boys" days perfectly and it has truly been Detroit against everybody this season as they continue to fight for respect.

From Hall of Famers such as Shaquille O'Neal to multiple NBA analysts disrespecting the Pistons this season, Detroit is finally showing what their young team is capable of doing and that they deserve respect from around the NBA.

Detroit will now look to continue their great season on Wednesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder where they will be without three of their key players due to suspension.
