JUSTIN Kluivert is a doubt for the visit of Ipswich after he finished the FA Cup game against Manchester City ‘dead’ on Sunday, Andoni Iraola said.

The Dutchman started on Sunday and played the full 90 minutes as the [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/) were knocked out of the cup at the quarterfinal stage.

This came after Kluivert featured in both his national team’s games during the break, both against Spain in the Nations League.

Kluivert has been one of the most reliable performers in the Cherries squad this campaign, featuring in all but one game all season, after he missed the Fulham away game in December through suspension.

He has started in 24 of the 29 games in the league, and was subbed on in the other four that he has played.

The forward has also been involved in all five of the club’s cup games this season and is the top scorer, with 13 goals in all competitions.

But Kluivert is a doubt for the visit of Ipswich on Wednesday night.

Asked what his problem is, Iraola said: “Justin's issue is that he finished dead, the other day.

“He was dead like a lot of them. And there is a part that there is an overload or call it as you want, small things.

“And we have to see today how he sees himself and we will move from there. But it's normal this kind of games with attention.

“He was coming from starting both games against Spain, big games also for him mentally, physically.

“But now with the schedules is what it is and we'll see. They lost also Haaland with an injury, I think, you know it's happening to every team and we just have to adapt.”

The Cherries host Ipswich at the Vitality Stadium on Wednesday, April 2 at 7.45pm.
