Antony has made his feelings clear on Real Betis as he continues to enjoy his time in Spain.
The Manchester United loanee was once again in action for Betis over the weekend, helping his side to a 2-1 comeback win over their arch rivals Sevilla on home soil.
Despite not getting on the scoresheet, the winger was one of the main characters at full-time. Antony was seen enthusiastically waving a giant Betis flag on the pitch, before goalkeeper Adrian lifted him into the air, thrilling the ecstatic crowd.
The 25-year-old has found a new lease of life in Seville, having netted four goals and provided as many assists in 12 appearances across all competitions.
Taking to Instagram after the game, Antony delivered a passionate message to Betis supporters. He wrote: "Sunday was more than just a game. We demonstrated of what Real Betis means.
"A historic comeback in the derby at the Benito Villamarin that was celebrated like never before. From the open training with the thousands of fans in the stands, to the unforgettable party in front of the hotel and the 58k fans who pushed us through to the 90 minutes, this victory is also yours."
After the game, he admitted it was too early to make a decision on his future after being quizzed about his plans. "I'm very happy here," he said. "But it's still too early to decide. I enjoy every day in the Betis shirt."
This comes after The i Paper claimed that United are confident of recouping £40million for the Brazilian during the summer transfer window.
It hasn't been all plain sailing for the Brazilian who struggled to make his mark at Old Trafford since the £86million move from Ajax in 2022.
Former Liverpool 'keeper Adrian meanwhile, would like to see him make the permanent move to Betis. "If in the end it ends up being closed, if he comes to help and show his best version, he will have the doors open and we will be here to help him," the Spaniard said.
"He can contribute that magic that he has. I am not going to discover it either. We saw his best version at Ajax. He is a vertical player, who can dribble, who can shoot, who is brave, he is spicy... Hopefully it can be closed."
