Report: How Wolves really feel about Vitor Pereira following shock Daniele De Rossi claim

Vitor Pereira has done a good job so far at Wolves.

The Portuguese was brought in as a replacement for Gary O’Neil in December, and was given the task of steering the club to safety.

It was a situation that mirrored the one two years ago, when Julen Lopetegui came in at Molineux, after poor results under Bruno Lage.

Pereira has done well so far, but that has not stopped a very bold claim being made.

And that claim was that Wolves have, or had, actually be in contact with Daniele De Rossi – who was fired by AS Roma back in September.

Now, a new report has shed light on the situation.

Wolves have no interest ‘whatsoever’ in making a managerial change, they’re backing Vitor Pereira

As per respected Italian journalist Rudy Galetti in TEAMtalk, the Wolves hierarchy are not looking to make a managerial change this summer.

He insists Wolves are pleased with the impact Pereira has made since coming aboard, and that there is no desire to replace him.

MORE WOLVES STORIES

Wolves – together with Pereira – are already planning for next season.

It is stated that there’s no interest ‘whatsoever’ to find a new manager.

Molineux officials are backing the 56-year-old, who is said to be desperate to succeed as a Premier League manager and extremely grateful to have been given the chance by Wolves.

Wolves could fly again under Pereira

The report that linked De Rossi with Wolves really was baffling, and very possibly the work of an agent looking to secure his client a new job.

Pereira has done a great job since coming in at Wolves, having picked up points in the Premier League and also instilled a bit of discipline and also calm.

He has steadied the ship, and also very much as the fans on board. And what’s more, Pereira has also impressed behind the scenes at Compton with how he’s carried himself.

It’s early days in his tenure. But there is genuinely potential for Wolves to fly again with Pereira at the helm, who has shown himself to be tactically astute.

He will just need backing well by Fosun. But whether he gets that remains to seen. Many Wolves fans won’t hold their breath.
