The Milwaukee Bucks snapped a four game losing streak with a convincing 133-123 victory over the Phoenix Suns at Fiserv Forum on Tuesday night. Now 41-34 on the season, Milwaukee still is in sixth place in the NBA Eastern Conference, but are just a game behind the Detroit Pistons for fifth and three games behind the Indiana Pacers for fourth.
Phoenix, led by former Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer, lost their fourth consecutive game and fell to 35-41 on the year. They currently 11th in the NBA Western Conference, a game and a half behind the Sacramento Kings for the final spot in the play-in tournament.

Playing without Damian Lillard, who has blood clots in his calf, the Bucks were led by nine-time All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo, who had 37 points while shooting 12-18 from the floor (2-4 from three) and 11-12 from the free throw line. He also had five rebounds, 11 assists, three steals, and a block.
Ryan Rollins, starting in place of Lillard, had a career-high 23 points while shooting 8-10 from the floor (5-7 from three) and 2-2 from the line. He added five rebounds, five assists, and two steals.
Brook Lopez, coming off of one of his worst games of the season, had 22 points while shooting 10-13 from the floor (2-3 from three) and adding six rebounds, six assists, and a block.
As a whole, the Bucks shot 68.9% from the floor in their win, a franchise record.

After the game, Giannis spoke to reporters about ending Milwaukee’s losing streak. “Definitely needed a win, he said, via Eric Nehm of The Athletic. “I think when you win you enjoy your sleep better, you enjoy your food better, you enjoy spending time with your kids and everything better. You enjoy interacting with your teammates more. I’m a sore loser, I’m not gonna lie.”
Unfortunately, the Bucks have lost far more than they envisioned this year. Hopefully this win will spark a winning streak and they can take some momentum into the NBA Playoffs.
