Tottenham recently made an announcement involving Arsenal which is expected to be worth a lot of money to both clubs.
Daniel Levy is always on the lookout for a big-money payday at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
That was made extremely clear after Spurs published their most recent financial results.
Levy’s statement accompanying the financial results, which could spell trouble for Ange Postecoglou, implies that the club are always thinking about their long-term financial growth, and it looks as though another lucrative payday has been secured with the help of Spurs’ fiercest rivals, Arsenal.

It was announced on Monday (31 March) that Tottenham and Arsenal will meet in a pre-season friendly in Hong Kong on 31 July.

This marks the first time that the North London Derby will be contested outside of the UK.

And ex-Spurs scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes both clubs are set for a big payday.
“This is going to be worth a huge amount of money for both clubs,” King said.
“I imagine both clubs will receive more than £1million, and everything will be paid in terms of their travel. A lot of clubs seem to be heading to this part of the world, where the interest is immense.
“It will be a minimum of £1m each, if not more, and it will be a full house. The clubs are doing this for money; let’s be honest here. To travel halfway around the world to play a London derby, it is only being done for money because traveling halfway across the world isn’t the best way for players to prepare for the new season.
“At that time of the year it will be humid; it will be uncomfortable for the players to play and train in. However, it has to be done because that is where the money is.”

Levy continues to generate big money at Tottenham
Making money off of a pre-season friendly can only be a good thing for Spurs, even if Arsenal are set to benefit as well.
However, supporters will only be interested in this if the money is being reinvested into the squad.
