In my opinion the current NFL quarterback market has two legitimate starting options in it with Aaron Rodgers and Kirk Cousins and two teams chasing starting quarterback in the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns. With all signs pointing to Rodgers joining Tomlin in Pittsburgh it makes lots of sense for Kirk Cousins recent trip to Westlake to become a trade over the next few months.

There are two bridge quarterback on the market in Joe Flacco and Carson Wentz, for me these two players will land with either the Titans or the Vikings to work with Cam Ward and JJ McCarthy.

For the Cleveland Browns a position room of Kirk Cousins, Kenny Pickett and a draft pick gives them several different options to hit at the position. If Kirk is back to his old self and how he started the 2025 season then they have a quarterback that is capable of taking them to the playoffs.

Kenny Pickett has shown he can be a game manager, with Stefanski's ability to elevate quarterbacks he works with it makes a lot of sense. Out of the 32 quarterbacks with the most dropbacks in 2023 he was tied in first for the least turnover worthy plays and in 2022 he was tied for 5th. If we know anything about what Kevin Stefanski looks for in a quarterback then this is up there right at the top of his list.

They will then finish the position room off with a draft pick, this could be anyone from Shedeur Sanders, Jaxson Dart, Jalen Milroe, Will Howard, Quinn Ewers & Tyler Shough. Which player should be the selection and where in the draft isn't a debate I plan to get involved in.
