Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker is willing to stay loyal to his team despite the struggles they're facing.
The Phoenix Suns suffered their fourth straight loss on Tuesday, falling to the Milwaukee Bucks 123-133.
Their playoff hopes are gradually fading, as they currently sit 11th in the Western Conference with a 35-41 record. They now face a tough schedule to close out the season, with upcoming games against the Celtics, Knicks, Warriors, and Thunder.
Despite a challenging and underwhelming season, filled with drama and tension, Suns star Devin Booker remains committed to the organization and wants to stay in Phoenix for the rest of his career.
"It’s not always greener on the other side," Booker told Logan Murdock of The Ringer. "People always want to leave their situation and end up in a worse one, and then they go missing. You’ll never have the love that you get from the team that drafted you."
Booker enjoys being in Phoenix and appreciates the love he's received from the fans, emphasizing his desire to be the one who brings a championship to the city.
"It’s great people here," Booker said. "There’s an untapped fan base, and it’s never been done here before. That’s what everybody’s been waiting on."
"I’ll never be in a rebuild again," Booker added. "We’re always going to be competing and striving for a championship."
