Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray are reportedly interested in signing 25-year-old Portuguese international Joao Felix from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Joao Felix is the subject of interest from Galatasaray. The 2023/24 Turkish Super Lig champions are scouring the market for a versatile attacker heading into the summer transfer window. So, the Chelsea misfit has emerged as a target, even though the 25-year-old has struggled at AC Milan.
Joao Felix and a career in limbo
Joao Felix has failed to fulfil his immense potential since leaving SL Benfica in a big-money move nearly half a dozen years ago. The highly-rated attacker was among the most promising young prospects when he broke onto the scene several seasons ago. However, after a topsy-turvy ride at Atletico Madrid, his move to Chelsea has failed to inspire something in him.
The 25-year-old was in and out of the starting lineup in the first half of the 2024/25 season before Chelsea loaned him to AC Milan in the winter transfer window. However, Felix’s struggles have not ended, with the player managing only one goal and one assist in 11 appearances across all competitions.
