Though Rice holds the record for the most NFL records, including most touchdowns scored, most yards receiving and most receptions.
He was not highly regarded as a young prospect, attending Mississippi Valley State University rather than a powerhouse college football program. After an outstanding career with the Delta Devils, he was drafted 16th overall by the San Francisco 49ers, where he won three Super Bowls.
A first-team All-Pro selection ten times, Rice led the league in receiving yards six times and receiving touchdowns six times. He's a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and College Football Hall of Fame.
He's co-authored two books, including a New York Times-bestseller "Super Bowl 50: 50 Years 50 Moments," according to UA-Fayetteville. Rice launched a lifestyle brand called G.O.A.T. Fuel along with his family in 2020.
